Luther Room in the Museum
Collection in Motion in the Kunstmuseen Krefeld
Since September 2025, the Kaiser Wilhelm Museum has a permanent Luther Room, which displays changing works by the Krefeld artist Adolf Luther and artworks from his collection. The exhibition Color and Transparency kicks off with a focus on the blue color of Yves Klein, which Luther took up in his Material Works and Curved Mirror Objects. In addition, a jewelry collection consisting of a brooch, necklace, ring, and watch, which Luther designed in 1985 together with jewelry designer Susanna Dünne, is on display for the first time in a museum context.
